We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Dani & Martin’s wedding at Brympton House, Somerset in March 2024.
The wind and rain was in full force, but Brympton House has so many photo opportunities, rain or shine.
HOW WE MET DANI & MARTIN
The year before D & M’s special day, we shot Dani’s maid of honour’s wedding at Ashley Wood Farm, Fonthill Estate.
When the wedding plans started for D & M, we had an email from them saying that they HAD to have us.
A VENUE THAT IS BEAUTIFUL RAIN OR SHINE
From the moment we arrived at Brympton House, Somerset, it was clear why Dani and Martin had chosen this venue. The house, with its grand architecture and beautiful gardens is capable of taking anyone’s breath away.
Even with the stormy weather outside, the house remained a place of joy and laughter.
Of course, we made the most of the interior of the house for the couple’s portraits, but when there were short gaps of sunshine, we RAN outside to get those shots - which even cleared enough for them to have the most dreamy golden hour.
DETAILS
Dani and Martin’s friends and family were an integral part of the day. Not just by being there to celebrate, but also coming together to create a wedding full of personal contributions.
Dani made the place names (she’s super talented - she can be found at Foxberry Ceramics), Dani’s sister made the wedding cake and their friends came together to take shifts in DJ’ing through the night.
A CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER
As photographers, it’s always a privilege to be part of such a special day. Dani and Martin’s wedding was a reminder that it’s not the weather that make a wedding memorable - it’s the people, the love, and the shared moments.
Brympton House provided the perfect setting for this unforgettable celebration, proving that rain and wind are no match for a couple’s love and the joy of bringing everyone together.
